Multi-Platform Magazine Project
traveltales is a monthly travel magazine that highlights a specific country or place, providing education, stories and stunning imagery to those who want to travel. It provides a simple design that allows the reader to focus on the story.
Constraints/Pieces: Text logo. 8.5x11 Print magazine with digital read download on iPad and iPhone. Consistency on design throughout print, phone and tablet with the overall same content, nothing less, nothing more.
Programs: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop
The logo type used is wordmark. This highlights the magazine’s name to be easily remembered. It also keeps it minimal and the bold font style still helps it stand out for recognition. The colors chosen are black and white. This helps provide the best contrast and make it adaptable to every photo or situation. The country to be highlighted in this project is Philippines. The images are kept in the same tonality to provide a cohesive look all throughout.
